CleanSpace Installation Saves Stetson, ME Crawlspace from Mold-Problem
When this Stetson, ME homeowner noticed a musty smell coming from their crawlspace, they wanted to find the source of the problem and eliminate it right away. After seeing an ad on their TV, they called us at TC Hafford Basement Systems and received a free estimate on their options from our representative. Looking to prevent this moisture problem from becoming worse, they gave us the go-ahead to get started waterproofing their crawlspace! Once our installation crew arrived at the home, they got started on giving this crawlspace a proper vapor barrier. This began with a Drainage Matting being laid across the floor of the space. The Drainage Mat sits just above the floor on bumps, allowing any moisture kept out of the crawlspace to flow to where it can most easily drain back into the ground. Above this, a CleanSpace liner was used to encapsulate the interior walls of the crawlspace. This completes the vapor barrier and will prevent any and all future leakages that would have otherwise entered the crawlspace. With their newly completed vapor barrier, this homeowner can rest assured their crawlspace will no longer take on water during rainfall. This will prevent any mold growth from thriving in the space, keeping the air in the home healthy.
PolyLevel Injection Realigns Sinking Frost Wall in Stetson, ME
After noticing part of their basement wall beginning to dip, this Stetson, ME homeowner knew they would need to somehow prevent the problem from getting worse. They asked around and soon were referred by a friend to TC Hafford Basement Systems. They called us right away to set up their free estimate. After speaking with our sales representative, it was determined that a PolyLevel injection would be used to prevent the wall from sinking any further. Basement In Exeter, ME Waterproofed Properly With WaterGuard

We then installed a SuperSump sump pump. This will take the collected water and push it up and out of the basement through a discharge line.
