On the exterior of the home, we attached an IceGuard pipe piece mid-way along the discharge line. The IceGuard is designed to allow water to exit the pipe, should the lower end become blocked by ice or other debris. The PowerBrace beams are fixed to the joists in the ceiling using brackets that will allow for the beams to be tightened against the wall while the bottoms of each beam are secured to the floor with concrete screw anchors. Once fully installed, the PowerBraces will be tightened over time to readjust the wall until it reaches its original position once again.
