Malfunctioning Sump Pump In Scarborough, ME Replaced With TripleSafe
A homeowner in Scarborough had a sump pump in their basement, but water was somehow still collecting in pools on the floor. The pump wasn’t doing what it was put there to do. Needing a way to remedy this issue, the homeowner searched online for a solution. This is where they found TC Hafford Basement Systems. They gave us a call and we had a representative head to the home to take a look at the sump, and give the homeowner a free estimate. They decided on what options they wanted, and we got to work!
To begin, we needed to remove the old pump. It could be thrown out, as it was no longer serving any purpose. After throwing away the pump, we were able to install our TripleSafe sump pump into the old sump. The TripleSafe is unique in that is consists of three separate pumps, to keep the basement dry under any condition. The first pump is the primary pump, which handle the bulk of the water. The secondary pump is there in case the primary malfunctions in any way, to prevent the sump from overflowing. Finally, the third pump is a battery-operated pump. It’s in place for when the power goes out in the home, and water still needs to be evacuated from the basement. This sump pump will guarantee a dry basement for this homeowner, under any conditions!
