The TripleSafe houses three pumps, each serving a separate function. Outside the home, two additions were made to the discharge line before we were finished on this home. The first addition was an IceGuard pipe segment attached just beyond where the line leaves the home. This section of pipe has special built-in holes that only allow trapped water to escape. This means if ice or debris blocks the line, the backing up water will be able to flow through the holes without reaching back into the home to cause flooding. Finally, a LawnScape port was attached to the end of the line. Here, the water will flow out of the grate of the LawnScape onto the lawn to drain away. This grate will also prevent most debris from entering the line to cause blockages. With these waterproofing devices installed, this homeowners basement will now keep itself dry for years to come.
