New Supplemental Beams were installed, and six SmartJacks were attached. SmartJacks supports can correct problems such as sloping floors, overly springy floors, and out-of-level door frames. SmartJacks are designed to be adjustable over time, providing additional straightening and leveling as necessary. The homeowner is now set up to be worry-free knowing that their home is safe and healthy.

This Greenville homeowner wanted to take care of the water in their basement before mold became an issue. Water was coming up through the floor and in past the walls. Without waterproofing the basement, the homeowner would never be able to use the space for storage. System Design Specialist Adam Hamm met with the homeowner and over 90 minutes, they put together a system that would meet the needs of the homeowner and allow them to finally use the space. The system include a new Slab, WaterGuard Perimeter drain, a CleanSpace Wall system, and a TripleSafe Sump Pump System that is connected to a buried Discharge Line that would take the water far away from the home where it would no longer be a problem.

Now the homeowner has a beautiful space where they can store anything they need without the worry of water damaging their belongings.

This Castine, ME home was recently purchased, and the new homeowners wanted to address the laundry list of issues that reside in the basement. Water damage can be found throughout the basement, and with a goal of remodeling the home, the new homeowner knew it was important to nip these issues in the bud.

With water coming into the basement through the walls and floor, the best course of action was to install WaterGuard Perimeter Drain.

First, Drainage Matting is laid down because a new slab is going to be poured. Drainage Matting creates an inorganic barrier to protect the slab. WaterGuard Perimeter Drain is placed down and connected to a TripleSafe Sump Pump system. SmartJacks were installed to replace 5 rusted out lally columns to ensure the structural integrity of the home and keep the homeowners safe. The new slab is poured, and a SaniDry Sedona is installed in the basement to maintain optimal humidity levels in the basement. CleanSpace Wall System is installed, and now the homeowner can remodel their home knowing their basement is protected and their home is healthy.

After years of living with a flooding basement this homeowner in Hampden, ME contacted us at TC Hafford Basement Systems in order to solve their problem. When our crew arrived, they were able to get started on the damp concrete floor by installing a WaterGuard piping system around the perimeter. This system feeds directly into the TripleSafe sump pump also installed within the floor. Now when any water leaks in towards this basement interior, the WaterGuard system will capture it and force it out of the home through the TripleSafe pump. Finally, an IceGuard pipe segment and LawnScape discharge port were attached to the PVC discharge line used to carry the water from the home.

Now this homeowner can utilize their basement without needing to worry about the constant flooding that they are used to.

Having lived in this home for most of their life, this Stonington, ME homeowner thought it was time to finally have their dirt basement properly waterproofed. To keep water from building up on the floor in the future, a slab Drainage Matting was laid on the dirt floor before a fresh slab of concrete was poured over the floor. Within this new slab, WaterGuard pipes were buried around the outer edge. These pipes will capture any moisture trying to enter the space through the floor in the future and guide the collected water to the TripleSafe sump pump for removal from the home. Finally, a CleanSpace liner was used to encapsulate the walls of the basement. This will both brighten up the space as well as guide any water coming in through the walls down into the WaterGuard for removal.
