In Sumner, Maine, a homeowner was dealing with constant water problems in their crawl space and basement. Concerned about rising moisture levels and potential damage, they contacted TC Hafford Basement Systems for help. After assessing the situation, our team recommended installing CleanSpace, a reliable water barrier, to protect against moisture entering the crawl space. We also applied Dr. Energy Saver spray foam insulation to seal air gaps and enhance energy efficiency. The transformation was remarkable. Once plagued by water damage and high humidity, the crawl space is now dry and energy-efficient. The homeowner was thrilled with the outcome, knowing their home is better protected for the future.
This homeowner in Mexico, Maine needed a vacation in Mexico after they discovered water coming through the floor of their basement. Wanted to fix the issue, the homeowner reached out to TC Hafford Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Sam met with the homeowner and put together a plan to keep their basement dry all of the time and make the space usable. To do this Sam designed a full system that would protect the home for its lifetime.
Starting with some debris removal, the production team installed Drainage Matting and WaterGuard to channel water to a Triple Safe Sump System that will move it far from the house through a buried Discharge Line where it will no longer be an issue. A couple of SmartJacks were added for additional support and once the new Slab is poured, the homeowner will be able to use their basement for the first time.
Living in a home with a regularly damp basement, this Auburn, ME homeowner was in the market for some basement waterproofing. After being referred to us by their neighbor, they called our TC Hafford Basement Systems office staff and we set them up with a free estimate from one of our sales representatives. As soon as our installation crew was able to, they got to work excavating the perimeter of the concrete basement floor. WaterGuard piping was then put in place around the perimeter and covered by a fresh coat of concrete. These pipes along with the Drainage Matting on the floors surface and SuperSump sump pump will keep this basement water-free for years to come!
Living with an old sump, this Freeport, ME homeowner thought it was time they replaced it with a more powerful pump. Shortly after they contacted us at TC Hafford Basement Systems, our sales representative met with the homeowner to go over their options and give them a free estimate. The homeowner soon gave us the green light to begin work on upgrading their old sump! As soon as our installation crew made it out to the home, they began by removing the old pump and digging out the sump to make room for the larger SuperSump. With the SuperSump installed, any water leaking into the basement in the future will be forced out of the home through the PVC discharge line. Outside the home, an IceGuard pipe section along with a LawnScape discharge port were attached to this line. The IceGuard provides protection against ice or other blockages in the line by allowing any trapped water angled holes to escape through before it can reach the basement again to cause flooding. The LawnScape port on the end of the line provides a grate to hold back leaves or other debris that could block the line over time.
With these upgrades in place below their home, this homeowner can now rely on their sump to handle water removal without needing to manually assist. The new SuperSump pump will keep this basement water-free for the future!
Homeowner was dealing with a significant amount of water in different areas of her basement. She wanted her home handled by the professionals so she contacted TC Hafford, who came out to assess the space. After consulting with the homeowner, it was decided that a WaterGuard Drainage System and a TripleSafe Sump Pump would be the best course of action for installation.
WaterGuard is a perimeter drain that allows water to travel under the floors service, leaving you a dry basement. While the TripleSafe Sump Pump will collect all of the water from the drain and expel it out of the basement and away from the homes foundation.
