System Design Specialist Michael P. helped a Kittery Point, ME homeowner upgrade their wet and dingy crawlspace. The homeowner indicated there was moisture coming through the stone wall. They wanted to explore spray foam insulation and any other solutions that could help keep the space dry. 

CleanSpace with Drainage Matting was installed to encapsulate the crawlspace. Drainage Matting is a durable barrier with dimples to help channel water and elevate the CleanSpace, keeping it clean. A SmartSump was installed to capture water and pump it through the new Exterior Buried Discharge line. SprayFoam insulation was installed to the rim joists and along the top of the walls to keep the space air tight and protected from moisture. Finishing off the waterproofing was the installation of a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
