First, Drainage Matting is laid down because a new slab is going to be poured. Drainage Matting creates an inorganic barrier to protect the slab. WaterGuard Perimeter Drain is placed down and connected to a TripleSafe Sump Pump system. SmartJacks were installed to replace 5 rusted out lally columns to ensure the structural integrity of the home and keep the homeowners safe. The new slab is poured, and a SaniDry Sedona is installed in the basement to maintain optimal humidity levels in the basement. CleanSpace Wall System is installed, and now the homeowner can remodel their home knowing their basement is protected and their home is healthy.

After years of living with a flooding basement this homeowner in Hampden, ME contacted us at TC Hafford Basement Systems in order to solve their problem. When our crew arrived, they were able to get started on the damp concrete floor by installing a WaterGuard piping system around the perimeter. This system feeds directly into the TripleSafe sump pump also installed within the floor. Now when any water leaks in towards this basement interior, the WaterGuard system will capture it and force it out of the home through the TripleSafe pump. Finally, an IceGuard pipe segment and LawnScape discharge port were attached to the PVC discharge line used to carry the water from the home.

WaterGuard collects and channels the water to the new TripleSafe Sump Pump, and TrenchDrain ensures all water is collected at the entryways. The TripleSafe Sump Pump is capable of pushing all the water from the WaterGuard out of the basement and through the new Buried Discharge Line. To make sure the system works during the freezing winter months, IceGuard was attached to the Buried Discharge Line to prevent ice buildup. Now the homeowner can use their basement as they please since their basement is fully waterproof and will stay dry all the time.

Having lived in this home for most of their life, this Stonington, ME homeowner thought it was time to finally have their dirt basement properly waterproofed. Once clear, the cracks were covered by an initial layer of sealant. This was quickly covered by a foam pad running the length of each crack. The foam was then covered by a second layer of sealant, completing the FlexiSpan seal over the cracks. The foam core within these seals allows them to bend and remain water-tight against the wall should the concrete walls shift slightly in the future.
