Once level, a Drainage Matting was laid across the floor of the space and a CleanSpace liner was utilized to encapsulate the interior of the crawlspace. Between the CleanSpace and the dirt floor, the Drainage Matting rests just above the ground and creates channels for which any blocked moisture can flow through to drain back into the ground below. The CleanSpace liner itself forms a barrier to completely lock out outside moisture, preventing future accumulation on the interior of this crawlspace floor. Finally, a SmartSump pump was installed in the floor of the crawlspace, to intake any blocked water and force it out of the home through a discharge line.
