Once our installation crew arrived at the home, they got started by utilizing a coarse brush to clear the area within and around the crack of debris. Next, the first layer of sealant was applied within the crack, beginning the FlexiSpan seal installation. A foam mat was then laid along the length of the crack and covered over by a second layer of sealant. The foam core within the completed FlexiSpan structure gives the seal its flexible nature. Now if the wall were to shift in such a way that the crack slightly changes shape, the seal will contort to the new shape and continue to hold back water.

To stop the water from entering, we encapsulated the crawlspace with a CleanSpace Liner. This is a thin sheet of plastic that will hold out any moisture trying to leak in through the walls or floor of the crawlspace. Rick can live odor free now that his crawlspace has been waterproofed!
