The homeowners of this property in South Portland wanted to protect their home against water and keep their home from sagging. TC Hafford Basement Systems was able to accomplish this by protecting the home using a variety of tools that we have available to us including, WaterGuard with a new Slab and drain matting, a TripleSafe Sump Pump, SmartJacks and Spray Foam.
In order to fully protect this basement against water, System Design Specialist Peter Folsom used a variety of assets to complete the job. WaterGuard is placed around the perimeter of the basement and is connected to our TripleSafe Sump Pump to quickly remove any ground water and drain it outside, far from the house. A new Slab is poured over drainage matting and SmartJacks are placed to help support the home and prevent any future sagging. CleanSpace is used to encapsulate areas with ledge and Spray Foam is used to insulate and secure the CleanSpace.
