Waterproofing Success: TripleSafe Sump Pump Installation in New Gloucester, ME Home

We received a call from a homeowner in New Gloucester, ME and System Design Specialist Tom Rich went out to meet with the homeowner for a free estimate. In order to fully protect the basement, Tom put together a solution using WaterGuard perimeter drain and a TripleSafe Sump Pump. Now the homeowner can rest easy knowing that water will no longer be an issue!

The TripleSafe Sump Pump is designed to efficiently remove water from your basement, even in the most demanding situations. It combines three powerful pumps, each with its own unique functionality, to provide unparalleled performance and ensure your basement stays dry, regardless of the circumstances.

The first pump, a Zoeller M53, is a high-capacity pump that kicks into action as soon as water enters the sump pit. It swiftly removes the water, preventing any immediate flooding and effectively managing normal water seepage. With its robust motor and efficient design, the primary pump is the backbone of the TripleSafe system.

The second pump, a Zoeller M98, acts as a backup to the primary pump. In the event of a power outage or pump failure, the secondary pump seamlessly takes over, keeping your basement protected even when the primary pump is unable to operate. This added layer of security ensures uninterrupted water removal and peace of mind during unforeseen circumstances.

The third pump, known as the UltraSump battery backup pump, provides an extra layer of defense against basement flooding. Powered by a maintenance-free battery, this pump operates independently of the primary and secondary pumps. It activates automatically during power outages or if the primary and secondary pumps are overwhelmed, ensuring continuous water removal and safeguarding your basement.

Additionally, the TripleSafe Sump Pump incorporates advanced monitoring and alert systems. An alarm system alerts you to any potential issues or malfunctions, allowing for timely maintenance and intervention. The innovative WaterWatch alarm system notifies you if the water level in the sump pit rises above normal, providing an early warning sign of potential flooding.

We believe you deserve only the best. That’s why we install a patented proven system developed and tested by Basement Systems, Inc. – the leader in "All Things Basementy!" For your peace of mind, our basement waterproofing system comes with a Warranty. We have a team of extensively trained basement repair specialists who can work with you to find the best solution for your home’s basement.

New Gloucester, ME Crawlspace Protected From Moisture

Rachel in New Gloucester had a crawlspace that was in dire need of waterproofing. The crawlspace would collect water every time it would rain. This water was creating an excellent environment for mold to grow within. Rachel needed to stop this from happening, and she found the perfect solution on her television; when she saw an ad for TC Hafford Basement Systems. She contacted us soon after and received a free estimate on what we could do to help solve her problem.

We started work on the crawlspace by wrapping a Drainage Matting around the interior perimeter of the crawlspace. This matting will prevent the watering entering through the wall or in through the joint between the wall and the floor. Keeping it out until it is able to drain back out of the crawlspace. Next, we covered the floors and walls with a CleanSpace Liner. This completely locks out any moisture trying to enter, maintaining a dry atmosphere within the crawlspace. Now mold growth is no longer a concern for this homeowner!

I just bought my house last December. I am a first time home owner and my house needs a lot of work. I wanted to get the foundation cleared away first and foremost. The house was built in 1984. It is gambrel style with very little drainage. Over time the water has had its way and cracks have formed on one of the walls near the bulkhead. Essentially I want to do whatever it takes to insure my foundation will last for decades at the cheapest cost (me and everyone else, right?) And I was hoping you may be able to give me a quote and some idea of what needs to be done.
