Within this new trench, WaterGuard piping was laid, surrounding the basement. These pipes were then buried beneath a layer of rocks and a coat of fresh concrete. This will conceal the pipes without hindering their function. The bottom edge of each pipe has a small slit that allows any leaking moisture to be absorbed into the WaterGuard. This water is then guided beneath the surface of the floor directly to the sump to be removed from the home.

Within the sump, we installed a TripleSafe pump system. This device houses three pumps, each activating in turn to keep this basement completely water-free. The first and second pumps are both utilized to handle the bulk of the water-removal, with the secondary pump only activating when the primary pump cannot handle the amount of water needing to be pumped from the home. The third pump is a battery-operated backup pump. This will keep the basement dry even if the home was to lose power. All of the water being pumped out of the home by the TripleSafe follows a PVC discharge line.
