PolyLevel Realigns Uneven Whiting, ME Concrete Slab
Challenge
A homeowner living in Whiting, ME had been living with a problem that was getting worse with time. The concrete slab of their garage floor was slowly sinking down into the ground. This had created a bump between the driveway and the garage floor. Needing a solution to this problem, the homeowner searched online for an answer. To fix this misalignment once and for all, the homeowner called TC Hafford Basement Systems.
Solution
Once our installation crew arrived at the home, they were able to begin work right away. To bring the floor back up to its original location, a PolyLevel injection was used. This began with holes being drilled in through the slab. After the holes were drilled, PolyLevel was injected down beneath the concrete. This PolyLevel then spread through the cavity, forcing the slab slowly back into place the more that was injected. Once the slab had been raised back into its proper place, the PolyLevel was left to solidify and hold the floor in place.
With their floor raised back to the proper level, this homeowner will no longer need to deal with the bump created by the sinking of their floor. The PolyLevel will keep this floor level for many years into the future!
