PolyLevel Re-Aligns Garage Floor in Solon, ME
Challenge
A homeowner living in Solon, ME had a problem developing in their garage. The concrete floor had begun to sink into the ground. This sinking was creating a bump where the floor met the driveway. This bump wasn’t a problem at first but was becoming worse with time. Unsure how to solve this problem on their own, the homeowner searched online for a solution. They soon found TC Hafford Basement Systems and called us to get the job done!
Solution
After inspecting the garage floor, our installation crew was sent to the home to begin work. Once the crew arrived, they began by drilling holes set a distance apart from each other in the floor of the garage. These holes lead down beneath the concrete slab, this would enable us to fix the problem with alignment the homeowner was having. We used the holes to then inject PolyLevel into the space beneath the slab. Once beneath the slab, the PolyLevel will expand, forcing the concrete back up toward its original placement. Once lifted to the appropriate height, the PolyLevel will solidify in place, holding the slab where it is meant to be.
With their newly leveled garage floor, this homeowner no longer has to worry about the bump every day. The PolyLevel will keep this garage slab secured in place for many years into the future!
