Growing tired of having to squeegee water out of their basement, this Kennebunk, ME, homeowner called TC Hafford Basement Systems for help. System Design Specialist John Wright worked with the homeowner to design a system specific to this basement that would protect the health of the home and prevent the homeowner from having to mop water off the floors.   WaterGuard was installed around the perimeter of the basement with TrenchDrain at high-traffic areas. TrenchDrain allows all water to be channeled into the system, where it flows to a TripleSafe Sump Pump. The TripleSafe Sump Pump is connected to an exterior Buried Discharge Line with an IceGuard to prevent ice from building up during cold months, ensuring the system works year-round without issue. The homeowner can now hang the squeegee up and use their basement for storage.
