Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Damp, Leaky Basement in Augusta, ME

In this project, TC Hafford Basement Systems was contacted by a homeowner in Augusta, ME struggling with persistent water issues in their basement. Our team performed a thorough inspection and discovered that water was entering through foundation cracks and poor drainage, leading to dampness and musty odors. To resolve these issues, we applied Dr. Energy Saver spray foam to insulate and seal the walls, installed the WaterGuard drainage system, and added IceGuard to prevent freezing in cold weather. A trench drain was installed to control surface water, and the CleanSpace wall system was used to create a vapor barrier, protecting the basement from future moisture problems. The homeowner was highly satisfied with the results, noticing an immediate improvement in both air quality and dryness.
