Sump Upgrade Keeps North Berwick, ME Basement Water-Free
Challenge
A homeowner living in North Berwick, ME was having difficulty keeping their basement free of water. With rainwater leaking into their basement, the drain in the floor just wasn’t enough to prevent flooding. Needing the problem taken care of, the homeowner contacted us at TC Hafford Basement Systems. After the homeowner received their free estimate, we got to work on the solution!
Solution
Once our installation crew arrived at the home, they began work installing a sump pump to keep the water at bay. We installed a SuperSump sump pump, capable of removing over 2,600 gallons from the home every hour. To help keep the pump operating at all times, an UltraSump was attached to a nearby wall and connected to the SuperSump. This device will allow the sump to continue to remove water from the home even after the home loses power for up to 11,000 gallons worth of water before requiring a charge. This will ensure the basement remains dry in any weather!
With their newly upgraded sump system, this homeowner no longer needs to worry about a flooding basement. The SuperSump & UltraSump combination will keep this basement water-free for years to come!
