Wolfeboro, NH Basement Kept Dry with FlexiSpan Seal Installation
Challenge
A homeowner living in Wolfeboro, NH was having trouble with water entering their basement. A crack had opened up along one of their concrete basement walls. This crack was allowing water from rainfall or melting ice to leak into the basement unimpeded. Wanting this problem solved as soon as possible, the homeowner sought a solution online. Solution
Once our installation crew arrived at the home, they began work on the three-layer installation of a FlexiSpan seal. After brushing the crack clear of debris, the first layer of sealant was applied inside the crack. Next, a foam mat was placed over this seal, giving form to the structure. The mat enables the FlexiSpan to conform to any slight shifts in the shape of the crack, giving it the flexible nature the name suggests. Finally, another layer of sealant was applied over the top of the foam mat. Completing the FlexiSpan seal, moisture outside the home will no longer be able to enter the basement through this crack.
This homeowner no longer needs to worry about moisture leaking into their basement during any rainfall. The FlexiSpan seal will keep this basement floor dry for many years to come!
