SaniDry Installation Keeps Farmington, NH Basement Moisture-Free
Challenge
A homeowner who lived in Farmington, NH was in the market for some waterproofing products. Their basement would often take on water from rainfall, but the sump they had would keep the water from flooding the space. However, moisture in the air was accumulating and beginning to cause the basement to smell musty. Looking to have this problem resolved, the homeowner gave us a call at TC Hafford Basement Systems. We set them up with their free estimate and then we got to work!
Solution
Once our installation crew arrived on the property, they began work right away on drying out the basement. To remove the moisture from the air, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed on the floor of the basement. This device will pull in the surrounding, damp air, separating the moisture from it. The dried air is then circulated back into the basement where it causes more damp air to flow toward the SaniDry to be dried. The collected water is passed from the Sedona to a Condensate Pump installed nearby. This device forces the water up and out of the home through a PVC discharge line.
With these new installations, this homeowner can now breathe easy in their basement without an unpleasant musty smell. The SaniDry Sedona will keep this basement air dry and healthy for many years to come!
