Sump Upgrade Protects Biddeford, ME Basement From Moisture Damage

A homeowner living in Biddeford, ME had been having trouble with their basement. Their basement would occasionally take on water during rainfall. This moisture entering the basement would linger within the space, creating a damp atmosphere in the space. Solution
Once our installation crew arrived at the home, they started work on the basement right away. They began by installing a SuperSump sump pump in the floor of the basement. This sump will take in any gathering water on the floor and pump it out of the home through a PVC discharge line. The SuperSump can handle up to 2,650 gallons of water every hour. We then installed a SaniDry XP dehumidifier to handle any airborne moisture lingering within the basement. This device will pull in the surrounding damp air, separating the moisture from it. The collected water is passed to the SuperSump to be removed from the home while the dried air is circulated back into the basement to continue the process.
With these new products in place, this homeowner should find their basement will no longer be damp following any rainfall! The SuperSump & SaniDry installation will keep this basement water-free for many years to come!
