SaniDry XP Eliminates Moisture Problem in Port Clyde, ME Basement
Challenge
A couple living in Port Clyde, ME recently had some moisture enter their basement during an exceptionally heavy rainstorm. With some of the moisture lingering within the basement, the homeowners needed a way to eliminate the now-airborne moisture. To get the job done, they called TC Hafford Basement Systems.
Solution
Once our installation crew arrived at the home, they began work right away on the basement. To remove the moisture from the air, we installed a SaniDry XP dehumidifier. This device pulls in the surrounding damp air, separating the moisture from it. The collected water is passed to a Condensate Pump to be forced out of the home through a discharge line. This water will now drain away into the outside soil, preventing it from causing any form of moisture damage within the basement. The dried air is then circulated back into the basement, where it will cycle more damp air back toward the SaniDry. This process will continue until the basement is full of completely dry and healthy air.
With these new products in place, these homeowners will no longer need to worry about any moisture problems taking root because of lingering water. The SaniDry will ensure this basement remains dry for years down the road.
