SaniDry Dries & Protects Trevett, ME Basement

Challenge

A homeowner living in Trevett, ME had recently had a particularly heavy rainstorm occur around their home. This caused the basement of the home to take on some water. This water was mostly dealt with by the sump, but some of the moisture still lingered in the atmosphere within the basement. To avoid this damp basement beginning to show signs of moisture damage, the homeowner called TC Hafford Basement Systems to take care of it before it got worse.

Solution

Once our installation crew arrived at the home, they began right away on handling the moisture left behind by the storm. To remove the moisture from the air within the basement, we installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. This device will pull in the surrounding damp air and separate the moisture from it. The dried air is circulated back into the basement where it will force more damp air back towards the dehumidifier. This cycle will continue until the basement air is dry and free of moisture. The separated moisture is passed on to a Condensate Pump where it will be forced out of the home through a discharge line. This will prevent any moisture problems from taking root within the basement.

With their new dehumidifier, this homeowner can now rest assured the lingering moisture will soon be a thing of the past. The SaniDry Sedona will keep this basement air healthy and dry for years to come!
