Solution

Typically, water drains out through the sump in their basement floor, but this time there was too much water for the sump to handle it all. Needing something done about this problem, the homeowner called TC Hafford Basement Systems to take care of their sump issue.
Solution: Without a pump in this basement to handle the water leaking in, any heavy rain could easily overwhelm the current sump. The resulting flooding could lead to problems like mold growth, or damage to the home if it goes on for long enough. To remedy the situation, once our installation crew arrived at the home, a SuperSump sump pump was installed in this basement floor. The SuperSump can handle up to 2,650 gallons of water every hour. This is plenty of power to keep up with any leaking moisture. The water is pumped up and out of the home through a PVC discharge line where it is carried a safe distance from the home before being deposited onto the ground.
With their sump upgrade complete, this homeowner should no longer suffer from flooding during heavy rainfall. The SuperSump sump pump will keep this basement floor dry for many years to come!
