SaniDry Dehumidifier Keeps Exeter, ME Basement Moisture-Free
Challenge
A homeowner in Exeter, ME had been having moisture build up in his basement for some time. The water would not gather on the floor, due to the sump handling water-removal. The water would instead stay airborne, creating a damp atmosphere which could lead to issues if left unchecked. To have the airborne moisture dealt with, the homeowner called TC Hafford Basement Systems.
Solution
Once our installation crew arrived at the home, they began right away solving the homeowners’ problem. With water gathering in the air, mold growth could be easily sustained, so this water needed to be collected and removed. We installed a SaniDry CX dehumidifier to do just that. The SaniDry will pull in the surrounding air, separating the moisture from it. This moisture is handed to the sump through piping to remove it from the home while the dried air is circulated back into the basement. This will create a dry, healthy atmosphere in the space, keeping the homeowner safe from such things as mold growth.
With their basement safe from moisture, this homeowner no longer has any need to worry. The SaniDry CX will keep the air in this basement moisture-free for many years to come!
