Baileyville, ME Basement Kept Dry With SaniDry XP
Challenge
A homeowner in Baileyville, ME was having moisture problems in their basement. With some moisture in the space, a musty smell had begun to spread into the home, bothering the homeowner. This moisture could lead to potentially more dangerous problems developing such as mold growth. Looking to have this moisture dealt with before becoming more of a problem, the homeowner called TC Hafford Basement Systems.
Solution
Once they got their free estimate and our installation crew got dispatched, we began work on solving the moisture issue beneath this home. To deal with the moisture that was not gathering in puddles, but remaining airborne, we installed a SaniDry XP dehumidifier to pull the moisture out of the surrounding air. This separated moisture is passed to a Condensate Pump we installed in the floor which pushes this water out of the home through a PVC discharge line. The SaniDry then circulates the dried air back into the basement to continue this process and completely eliminate the moisture problem.
With their new system in place, this homeowner will no longer need to live with a musty smell emanating from their basement. The SaniDry XP dehumidifier will ensure this basement remains dry and healthy for many years into the future!
