Damp Dresden, ME Basement Dried Using SaniDry XP Dehumidifier

Challenge

A homeowner in Dresden, ME had a problem in their basement. They recently lost power during a storm and their sump pump stopped working. The water then flooded their basement leaving it extremely damp after the storm was over. Wanting this dealt with before any moisture problems took root in the basement, the homeowner called TC Hafford Basement Systems.

Solution

Once our installation crew arrived at the property, they moved to the basement to begin work right away. To remedy the moisture problem in the basement, we installed a SaniDry XP dehumidifier. This device will pull in the surrounding air and separate the moisture from it. The dried air is then circulated back into the basement where it helps to force more damp air back to the SaniDry. This process continues until the basement is perfectly dry and healthy again! The water pulled from the air is passed to a Condensate Pump to be removed from the home through a PVC discharge line. It is carried away from the home through this line and deposited a safe distance away.

With their new dehumidifier installed, the moisture that had gathered within this homeowners’ basement will be gone in no time. The SaniDry XP dehumidifier will keep this basement safe from moisture problems for many years to come!
