SaniDry XP Protects Livermore, ME Basement From Moisture
Challenge
A homeowner in Livermore, ME had been wanting to utilize their basement for storage. However, damp conditions beneath the home were preventing them from doing this. To eliminate the dampness and allow for the basement to be used as storage, the homeowner needed professional help. They called TC Hafford Basement Systems and we were on the job!
Solution
As soon as our installation crew arrived they were able to begin work on the basement. With a sump in place keeping most of the water out of this basement, only the airborne moisture was still a problem for the homeowner. We installed a SaniDry XP dehumidifier to take care of this. The SaniDry will pull in the surrounding air and separate the moisture from it. The collected water is passed to the sump for removal while the dried air is circulated back into the basement. This creates a cycle of more damp air being pulled back toward the SaniDry to be dried which continues until the basement has a perfectly dry atmosphere.
With their new dehumidifier in place, this homeowner can no utilize their basement for any needs without the fear of water damage. The SaniDry XP will maintain a dry and healthy atmosphere in this basement for many years to come!
