Sump Upgrade Prevents Holden, ME Basement Flooding
Challenge
A Holden, ME homeowner called TC Hafford Basement Systems with a problem. Water had been gathering across their basement floor. Even though they had a sump in the floor, the gathering water would be too much, and the sump would overflow. Needing this problem fixed right away, the homeowner hired us to get the job done.
Solution
As soon as the installation crew arrived at the home they began work right away on this sump. To help this sump keep up with the inflow of water, we installed a SuperSump sump pump. The SuperSump can handle over 2,600 gallons of water every hour, plenty of power to keep any storm at bay. To protect the SuperSump from power-outages, we attached an UltraSump backup battery. This will give the SuperSump an extra 11,000 gallons worth of power before requiring a charge in the event of a power-outage. These will keep water flowing out of the home, instead of gathering on the basement floor.
Now that this homeowner has a functional sump pump in place and a backup battery to keep it operational they will never again have a flooded basement floor. The SuperSump & UltraSump combination is a force to be reckoned with to any rainy weather.
