Springvale, ME Basement Alleviated of Water Leaks With FlexiSpan

Challenge

A homeowner in Springvale, ME contacted TC Hafford Basement Systems with a problem. A crack along one of their basement walls was letting in water from the surrounding soil. This problem is an easy fix for the TC Hafford team, who we dispatched to the home to remedy the issue.

Solution

Once the installation crew arrived at the home, they began work on the crack by brushing it clear of debris with a coarse brush. We then installed FlexiSpan over the crack, starting with a layer of sealant lining the interior of the crack. This initial layer was then covered over with a foam matting. This matting gives the FlexiSpan its flexibility, making it able to conform to any shifting of the crack. Over the top of this mat, we applied a second layer of sealant to finish the FlexiSpan. Now no more water will be entering this basement wall crack.

With the FlexiSpan in place, not even a slightly shifting wall will be enough to create an opening for the moisture. No more water will be leaking in and bothering this homeowner in the future.
