CleanSpace Seals Off Bridgton, ME Crawlspace from Outside Moisture

Challenge

A homeowner in Bridgton, ME was having trouble with their crawlspace. With water leaking in through the dirt walls of the space, there was nothing the homeowner could do on their own to stop the leaks. To have the problem resolved, they called TC Hafford Basement Systems.

Solution

Once the installation crew arrived at the home, they began work on the crawlspace right away. First, a Drainage Matting was laid across the floor of the space to hold moisture beneath itself. A cavity beneath the matting allows the water to flow and find a spot to drain away back into the soil. Over the top of this mat, the crawlspace was then encapsulated with a CleanSpace liner. This liner will lock out any moisture attempting to enter the space, maintaining a dry space for the future.

With this new vapor barrier in place, this homeowner can now rest assured their crawlspace will no longer take on moisture. The CleanSpace liner will keep the space water-free for years to come!
