TripleSafe Keeps Scarborough, ME Basement Water-Free
Challenge
A homeowner in Scarborough, ME had been struggling to keep their basement free of water. With their current sump, they would need to go down and occasionally pump out water manually when the rain was too intense. To put an end to this need for manual intervention, the homeowner called TC Hafford Basement Systems.
Solution
As soon as the crew arrived, the first order of business was to remove the old pump from the sump. After removing this, we installed a TripleSafe pump. The TripleSafe contains three pumps, each serving a separate function. The primary pump handles the bulk of the water. The secondary pump will take over the roll of the primary in the event it fails for any reason. This allows for the primary to be fixed without down time. The third and final pump is a battery backup pump which will keep the basement dry even when the home is without power. The water is forced up and out of the home by the TripleSafe through a PVC discharge line.
With this new pump in place, the homeowner will never again need to interfere with the water removal within their basement. Thanks to the TripleSafe sump pump, this basement will remain dry for years to come!
