Auburn, ME Basement Drained & Dried With SuperSump System

Challenge

With a flooding basement, this Auburn, ME homeowner needed work done on their basement fast. Unable to keep the water out with their current sump, there was nothing left this homeowner could do on their own. To have the space kept dry, they called TC Hafford Basement Systems.

Solution

Once the crew arrived at the home, they got to work right away by removing the old pump. This device was then replaced with a SuperSump sump pump. The SuperSump can remove up to 2,650 gallons of water every hour. This water is forced up and out of the home through a PVC discharge line. To keep this sump operating in any weather, we attached an UltraSump backup battery. The UltraSump will allow the SuperSump to pump an additional 11,000 gallons of water even when the home loses power. This will ensure the basement remains dry.

With the new sump system in place, this homeowner will no longer need to worry about water flooding their basement. Now any water leaking into this home will be removed shortly after.
