Challenge

After dealing with a leaking crack in his basement wall, Doug decided to finally get it fixed!

Solution

To contain the water leaking into the basement, two things needed to be done; The floor needed to be given proper drainage, and the crack in the wall needed to be sealed. To achieve this, we lined the perimeter of the basement floor with 89 feet of WaterGuard pipes. The WaterGuard will catch any water leaking in through the cement, and guide it out of the basement. We then sealed the crack with the three-step process of FlexiSpan. The crack is filled with a layer of sealant, covered over with a foam matting, and then capped off with a second layer of sealant. These three layers create a flexible seal over the crack that can adapt to shifting walls.

Thanks to Doug finding TC Hafford Basement Systems, his basement will never leak again! The crack has been sealed and the WaterGuard will carry away any other moisture.
