Windham, ME - SuperSump & WaterGuard Installation
Challenge
After living with a flooding basement for so long, Gregg was fed up with the water. He soon sought out a solution.
Solution
To keep water from entering the interior of this basement, we lined the perimeter with 88 feet of WaterGuard piping. With the way these pipes are designed, no water will be able to seep up into the basement without being caught. Our crew then got to work installing a combination of a SuperSump sump pump, capable of moving 2,650 gallons of water per hour, along with an UltraSump backup battery. With these two products in place, no amount of water will be able to flood this basement, not even if it knocks out the power. Finally, to maintain a dry and healthy atmosphere within Gregg’s basement, we installed a SaniDry XP dehumidifier. The SaniDry will take the moisture out of the air, and allow the SuperSump to push it right up and out of the basement.
Now with a properly waterproofed basement, Gregg can use the space for whatever he pleases. Not even the heaviest storms will get passed WaterGuard.
