Damp Windsor, ME Basement Receives Much-Needed Sump Installation

Having to contend with moisture accumulating in their basement using nothing but fans, this homeowner living in Windsor, ME needed a better way to keep the water at bay. Shortly after clearing a space and excavating a fresh sump, a SuperSump pump was installed in the floor of the basement. The SuperSump device is capable of removing water from the home at a rate of over 2,600 gallons of water per hour. This water flows out of the home through a PVC discharge line. On the exterior of the home, an IceGuard pipe segment as well as a LawnScape discharge port were attached to the discharge line. The IceGuard will protect against ice forming in the line while the LawnScape port provides a grate over the end of the line to keep debris from entering and causing blockages.
