Wanting to take care of the moisture issue in their Harpswell, ME, crawl space, this homeowner reached out to TC Hafford Basement Systems for help. System Design Specialist Todd Bernard met with the homeowner to discuss their goals and put together a system that would give them peace of mind. Encapsulating the hardly-used crawl space would protect the area and home from outside elements and help keep moisture out of the crawl space, preventing mold and small critters from making it their home. CleanSpace with Drainage Matting was installed with Spray Foam, ensuring the best seal. Finally, a Sump Liner was installed so that, if water ever becomes a problem, a sump pump can be quickly and easily installed without disrupting the CleanSpace.   The homeowner can rest easy knowing their home’s health is protected and their crawl space won’t be a home to any critters that aren’t paying bills.
