TC Hafford Basement Systems Cheers for the Sea Dogs
The team at TC Hafford Basement Systems enjoyed an evening of baseball as the Portland Sea Dogs, the Double-A affiliate of the Red Sox, were hosts to the Trenton Thunder, the Double-A affiliate of the Yankees.
Tony Hafford, owner and President of the basement waterproofing business, treated his employees to the April 30th night game with sky box seats, greatly appreciated since springtime in Maine is notoriously chilly. Tony didn’t forget food either: employees feasted on a fajita spread and the famous Sea Dogs biscuits -- premium ice cream stuffed between two large chocolate chip cookies -- as they watched the exciting game.
Although the Sea Dogs lost late in the game, the camaraderie and fun were enjoyed by all of the team at TC Hafford.
Established in 1994, the Sea Dogs are based in Portland, ME and play their home games at Hadlock Field, named after a long-time Portland High School baseball coach. In left field of the park stands the Maine Monster, a 37-foot tall replica of Fenway Park’s Green Monster.
