PolyLevel Injection Realigns Concrete Slab in Hanover, ME
Challenge
A homeowner living in Hanover, ME had noticed their concrete garage floor had been slowly sinking downward into the ground. This was not a problem at first, but when it got to the point where there was a noticeable bump when exiting their garage, the homeowner wanted to have something done to fix the problem. Unsure how to approach the problem on their own, the homeowner called TC Hafford Basement Systems.
Solution
Once our installation crew arrived at the home, they began work on the slab right away. First, several holes were drilled into the concrete slab. Then a material called PolyLevel was injected in through these holes. This injection fills the area beneath the slab, spreading and forcing the slab back into its original alignment. Once enough has been injected, the PolyLevel will harden in place, locking the garage floor right where it belongs. The PolyLevel will hold the floor in place, allowing the homeowner to drive in and out of the garage without the bump of the unaligned slab.
With this injection complete, this homeowner now has a perfectly level garage floor. The PolyLevel will keep this floor in proper alignment for many years to come.
