Sinking Dexter, ME Garage Slab
Challenge
A homeowner in Dexter, ME had a garage with a concrete slab for a floor. This floor, however, had been sinking down into the earth over time. Now dealing with a bump every time they needed to drive in or out of the garage, the homeowner decided it was time to have something done about it. To get the job done, the called TC Hafford Basement Systems.
Solution
Once the TC Hafford installation crew arrived at the home, they were able to begin work on the slab right away. To fix the height of the floor and keep it that way we needed to use PolyLevel. We began by drilling down beneath the slab, then we injected the PolyLevel down the new holes. Once injected, the PolyLevel will spread and raise the slab back into place. After the slab reached its original location, the injection was stopped and the PolyLevel dried in place.
The newly injected PolyLevel will ensure this slab stays level in the future, creating a comfortable transition for the homeowner. The problem-bump they had been dealing with is now a thing of the past!
