PolyLevel Corrects Concrete Garage Slab in Warren, ME
Challenge
A homeowner in Warren, ME had a concrete garage slab which, over the years, was beginning to sink down into the ground. This change in level was a problem because the difference in height was causing a large bump upon entering and exiting the garage. To remedy this problem, the homeowner called TC Hafford Basement Systems.
Solution
Once the TC Hafford installation crew arrived at the home they began work on the slab right away. To bring the concrete slab back up to optimal levels, we needed to use a product known as PolyLevel. This is an injection which is shot down through the slab, beneath the concrete. Here, the PolyLevel spreads out to fill up the cavity created by the sinking slab, forcing the slab back up into place. Once realigned with its original position, the PolyLevel will harden in palace, locking the slab where it belongs.
With the PolyLevel installed, this homeowner will no longer need to deal with the unpleasant bump whenever entering or exiting their garage. This slab should now remain aligned for years to come!
