Kennebunk, ME Basement Upgraded With SuperSump

Challenge

A homeowner in Kennebunk, ME had been having trouble with their basement. The sump they had installed was not keeping up with water like it should. With standing water still spread across their basement floor, this homeowner needed professional help. To get the help they needed, they called TC Hafford Basement Systems.

Solution

Once the TC Hafford crew arrived at the home, they began work right away by removing the old pump from the sump. This wasn’t going to be needed any longer. It was then replaced with a SuperSump sump pump. This pump can move up to 2,650 gallons of water every hour, plenty of power to keep this basement completely free of water. To keep this sump operational all the time, we attached an UltraSump backup battery. This will keep the water flowing even when the home is without power. The water is forced up and out of the home through a PVC discharge line, where it is carried away and deposited onto the ground.

With the sump upgrade in place, this homeowner can now rest assured that their basement will no longer suffer from flooding due to a malfunctioning sump. The SuperSump & UltraSump combo is practically unstoppable.
